Thirteen local mountain artists are opening their studios to the community over the 4th of July weekend. These painters, photographers, ceramicists and jewelry artists graciously open their homes and studios to the public to see how they work their artistic magic! You will be able to watch artists at work and ask questions about their art. It is a wonderful time to take budding artists or simply artist fans to see other artists' studios and work.

Included in the fee is a reception at the Mountain Arts Network (MAN) Gallery in the Village on Friday, June 30th from 4-7 pm.
On July 1st you can travel at your leisure from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday selecting the artists you want to visit. Several of the artist's studios are also open on Sunday, July 2nd. Each artist provides snacks and beverages for the guests to their studios.

Artist, Maureen Stratton, says, "Our 5th annual Artist home studio tour is going to be our best yet.  Combine your tour on the mountain with 4th of July weekend festivities!  Demos, raffles, food and art....fun for the whole family!"

4th Annual Mountain Artists Studio Tour
Friday - Sunday
October 21, 22, & 23, 2016

Our 4th Annual Mountain Artist Studio Tour was a smashing success! Sixteen local painters, photographers, ceramists, and jewelry artists graciously opened their homes and studios to the public to see where and how they create.

The event started out with a "Meet the Artist" wine and cheese reception Friday night. Guests enjoyed the lively camaraderie and danced to our live entertainment, Jonathan Williams ( Micheal Buble has nothing over him!). Next day was a stunning October day complete with fall color while guests navigated the mountain communities visiting the studios. A few were open again on Sunday which proved to be a lovely rainy fall day, some homes offering hot apple cider to warm the guests as they arrived. All in all a great weekend!
Look forward to our 5th Annual Tour next year!
