1st Annual Student Art Show 1st Annual Student Art Show
May 10 to May 26, 2013
Opening night is Friday, May 10 at 5:00 pm at the Gallery. Join us for the reception & award presentation.

This is a juried art contest, exhibit and reception for local students.

All grade levels are invited to participate. Art submission are accepted until 5:00 pm on Friday, May 3rd.

Mountain Artists Studio Tour
July 6th - 10am-5pm

On July 6, 2013 you will get the opportunity to visit the homes of 12 local artists who create their works of art in their home studios. Tickets can be purchased after June 15th. Tickets are priced at $20.00.

Plan your day NOW! Start at one end of the mountain and visit as many home studios as you can!

Then, Join us the evening of July 5th for a Champagne and Dessert Reception at the Mountain Arts Gallery to meet the artists and enjoy the gallery. The reception is included in the price of your ticket!
 
2nd Annual Plein Air Paint Out
August 29-September 1, 2013
One of the best places to paint is now open to all. Offering plein air painters 4 days to paint 3 lakes and a Quick Draw. Opening reception Thursday, August 29th 5-8 pm. Awards, Sale and Exhibit to be held at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa Sunday, September 1st from 12-7pm. Open to the Public.

Still Life Oil Painting Workshop
with Brenda Lee
June 12 thru July 31, Wednesdays 11am-4pm

Painting from life, we will apply the concepts and fundamentals that apply to any other subject matter: color, light, values, edges, compostion, design.

Class size limited to 5 students max.
All skill levels welcome.

Lian Quan Zhen Workshop
October 19-20
This two day workshop will begin with a "Meet the Other Artists" BBQ held on Friday, October 18th

Oct-19-20: Mr. Zhen's Workshop (www.lianspainting.com) will be held at the Mountain Arts Network Community Arts Center on Saturday & Sunday. Lunch will be provided. Supply list will be sent to each artist who registers.
