Featured Artist: Adam Quinn

Born in 1985, and raised in San Bernardino County, I have lived up here in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains for most of my life. I'm so thankful to Christ, my Lord, for being able to have such a wonderful gift like art. Since I was 3, I remember always dreaming of many beautifully awesome things like dragons, fairies, elf's, robot's and other cool mythical creatures in all their mysterious lands and I would just draw and draw, any and everything that entered my head! And so the world of my imagination became one of my favorite places to go in my pass time. Anything I could get my hands on I'd use to express my art from wood work, glass design, welding, 3-D modeling, clothing, ceramics, jewelry, photography, acrylic and watercolor painting, PC programs like Illustrator and Photoshop, pencil drawing, and even writing and music.

I'd have to say that art truly permeates every aspect of my life! My dream is to write stories; create wonderful new worlds; make up interesting characters and work on movie animations, games, books or whatever else God may have in-store for me. I hope my art inspires imaginations and lifts the hearts of many in seeing God's beauty and handy work through this gift.

Mountain Arts is currently exploring two new Grant opportunities, one regional, and one state-wide from the California Arts Council. If we are successful, new art classes will be free for students and possibly adults as well.
